The latest device from ASUS, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe (UX490UA), is an improved version of and successor to the ZenBook 3.The device is only 12.9mm thin, weighting about 1.1kg with a 13 inch chassis that includes a 14 inch nanoedge display.
To cater to traveling professionals, the laptop was designed with an edge-to-edge keyboard holding full-size keys, and a coloured backlight to irradiate these keys. The glossy touchpad, enclosed in glass, is compatible with Windows Precision Touchpad (WPT) technology, and encompasses palm-rejection technology, multi-touch gestures and handwriting support. Also on the touchpad is a fingerprint sensor, positioned at the top right corner for easy access.
The zenbook 3 duluxe comes with an Intel core i7 processors with a RAM expandable to 16gb and a 1TB PCI Express (PCIe ) SSD, which offers a data connection that is three times faster than the SATA SSD.
It comes with a cooling system that allows the battery to last for about 9 hours.
ASUS has once again added a bonus feature for the gaming guy in all of us, with the addition of Thunderbolt 3 ports. The fastest ports in the world, they allow just about any dock, display or data device to be linked to the ZenBook 3 Deluxe.
